International Research and Collaboration Cell (IRCC)

In the modern era, borders between countries have become virtually inconsequential beyond politics. People across the world are reaping the benefits of globalisation, especially in the ever-growing field of education. Education has always been about more than classrooms and books. A proper education prepares a person for the real world through experience of various culture, world-class guidance, relevant exposure, professional networking and ultimately field experience in the global industry. We, at Shri Venkateshwara University firmly believe that knowledge-seeing is a joint collaborative venture across the world and cannot be completed alone. Hence, through our international partnerships across various cultural landscapes around the globe, we ensure a complete all round education for our students through our Student Exchange Programs, Faculty Exchange Programs as well as our Study Abroad Programs, such that the graduating student is ready for a flourishing professional career in their field of choice.

Objectives:

  • Facilitate and boost Shri Venkateshwara University's global visibility and recognition.
  • Develop, coordinate and strengthen international linkages.
  • Developing and strengthening collaborative agreements with the foreign universities and organizations in terms of research, projects, students and faculty exchange and many more.
  • Provide a base to assist International and Indian scholars for career advancement and contribute towards enhancing bilateral relations.
  • To provide high quality international educational experience to students through student exchange programs.
  • Formulate and design different aspects of the Study-Abroad and Study-in-India programs for students and aspects of faculty exchange in terms of handling courses and enhance research collaboration in the field of mutual interest.
  • Outline the programs of the university, encourage international education and joint interdisciplinary programs for particular subject areas.
  • Share international best practices through international collaborations to facilitate high-impact research that advances the limits of expertise and leads to the worldwide advancement of society.

Inbound Exchange

Our inbound exchange programs aim towards providing the visiting foreign students from across the world an enriching exposure to our vibrant culture, diversity, and meticulous education through the plethora of academic courses offered by SVU and delivered by the University’s experts. The students are given an opportunity to have a deeply insightful experience, not only with respect to the unique heritage of India but also through our strategically designed academic courses that are meant to provide a fresh perspective into their respective subjects. You are invited to embark upon this memorable journey with us through SVU’s international exchange programs for a lifetime experience towards your personal and professional growth.

Outbound Exchange

Through our outbound research programs, we aim to provide our domestic students and university faculties an opportunity to develop their skills to a global standard, at a fraction of the cost that would usually be required for such an experience. The strategically designed multi-dimensional approaches to learning during these programs not only makes the person significantly more aware of the global market, hence making the person more employable throughout the world, but also leads to social poise, maturity and the ability to integrate into foreign environments beyond their comfort zone, without which one’s education is incomplete.

Collaborative Research

Through our partnerships with various international institutions across varied academic landscapes, innumerable avenues of collaborative research have opened up with these institutions. Through our research platforms, we intend to further the cause of international welfare and other pressing issues of the modern world. Our research projects have a common goal of integrating brilliant minds and experts across the world so as to cater to the progression of humanity through well rounded multi-faceted education.

Study Abroad Programs

In our unique study abroad programs, the student’s higher education journey starts at SVU and spends one or two years at SVU, post which if the student secures an admission into a foreign university, he/she completes their balance number of years of the degree at the University abroad and is awarded the final degree from the foreign University at a much lowered cost due to the limited duration abroad. This program will allow the student to transfer their credits from SVU and graduate from the top global universities, hence becoming eligible for international placements from the respective Universities abroad. The students will receive full assistance from SVU in terms of the documentation that is required to transfer themselves to the foreign universities.
